Before joining WISHFUL THINKING John Franklin played guitar in a band called THE MANIAX The band consisted of: Ian Wright - Drums (White Trixon) Allan Wright - Hammond Organ (brothers) Mick Bannister - Lead vocals Peter Green - Bass Guitar (Framus Bass) Johnnie Franklin - Lead Guitar (Grimshaw guitar, Selmer Selectatone amplifier) "at the age of 16 years" In March 1966 THE MANIAX released a 45: "Out Of Reach / The Devil's Home" (White Label WLR 101) The Devil's Home was also included on the CD "Syde Tryps One" on Wooden Hill records (WHCD002) |
